Frequently asked questions

Generation Clean utilizes a pure water waterfed pole system for our window cleaning services, ensuring a streak-free shine every time. Additionally, we employ an industrial SkyVac to efficiently clear out gutters, keeping your property tidy and well-maintained.

How does the purewater system work?

A pure water window cleaning system uses highly filtered water to clean your windows. First, the water is purified using special de-ionizing filters and a reverse osmosis system which removes minerals and impurities. This creates pure water, which naturally attracts dirt and grime. The water is then stored on our van and is pumped through a hose into a waterfed pole, where it travels up to the brush head and onto the window. When the pure water is brushed onto the glass using a soft brush, it lifts dirt from the surface. The water is then rinsed away, taking the dirt with it.

Because pure water dries spot free, there are no streaks or residue left behind hence why the windows are left wet to dry naturally. The result is cleaner windows which stay cleaner for longer.

This system allows windows to be cleaned from the ground, meaning no ladders, less risk and a more thorough clean  - including frames and sills

How often should my windows be professionally cleaned?

Most homes benefit from professional window cleaning every 6-8 weeks, however this can vary. Some customers prefer more frequent cleaning while others are happy with fewer visits. It all depends on your home's location, surroundings, and personal preference. Regular cleaning keeps windows looking better for longer and helps prevent the buildup of dirt, salt, and pollution that can damage glass over time.

Why is gutter clearing important?

Gutters are designed to channel rainwater away from your property. When they become blocked with leaves and debris, water can overflow and cause damage to walls, roofs, and foundations. Regular gutter clearing helps prevent leaks, damp issues, and costly repairs - especially during heavy rainfall.

Do I need to be home during the service.

No - as long as we have a clear access to the windows or gutters, you don't need to be home. We can complete the work safely and efficiently, and payment can be made conveniently afterward.

How do you clear gutters?

We clear gutters using professional equipment designed to remove leaves, moss, and debris safely and effectively. This is done from the ground using a powerful vacuum system,  meaning that in most cases ladders aren't required.

Once cleared, we ensure rainwater can flow freely through the gutters and down-pipes, helping to protect your property from the water damage.
